Invitation:

On Saturday the 3rd of August, 16 Antwerp museums swing open their doors from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at night for an alternative visit. The Antwerp ‘temples of art’ pamper visitors with summer bars, nocturnal guided tours, workshops, concerts, DJ-sets, a Human Jukebox and even a demonstration bodypainting.

One ticket provides access to the following 16 museums: MAS and the 3 pavilions next to it, Vleeshuis, Letterenhuis, Rockoxhuis, KMSKA (Koningin Fabiolazaal), Rubenshuis, Museum Plantin-Moretus, Fashion Museum, Diamond museum (pop-up), Museum Mayer van den Bergh, Maagdenhuismuseum, MuHKA (contemporary art), FotoMuseum and Cinema Zuid.

And don’t forget the amazing view over the Antwerp skyline by night from the top floor of the MAS!

This is THE ideal summer occasion to discover Antwerp’s hidden treasures!

Tickets: 7 euros (pre-sale through the website), 8 euros on the day.

A shuttle-bus connects the museums and leaves ca. every 15min. from different places in the city. This is included in the ticket price, although most of the museums are walking distance from each other.

Members who are interested should purchase tickets themselves. These can be purchased in pre-sale through this link http://purchase.tickets.com/buy/TicketPurchase?agency=PROSPEKTA&organ_val=24759&perfcode=MUSEUM&perfsubcode=2013 and recuperated on the day in the ticket office (open till 7 p.m.) – or purchased on the day itself.

A map of the participating museums and the route of the shuttle-bus is available through this link: http://www.museumnacht.be/Portals/museumnacht/stadsplan_1.pdf
