Celebrate Summer with the Cambridge Society of Belgium!

The Cambridge Society of Belgium cordially invites our members, guests, friends from “the Other Place,” and sister alumni societies to our annual Summer Cocktail.

This year, Cambridge is delighted to host! We have found the perfect setting at the Tennis Club du Bois de la Cambre—a hidden gem nestled in lush greenery, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Bois de la Cambre. It is the ideal backdrop for an evening of excellent company and celebration.

What to Expect

  • Refreshments: A fantastic selection of gourmet canapés, alongside a free flow of bubbles, wine, beer and soft drinks.
  • Dress Code: Smart (e.g., cocktail (or possibly long dresses) for ladies; blazers or lounge suits for gentlemen).

  • Doors Open: 18:30 sharp
  • Carriages: 21:00 or so.

Getting There

  • By Car: Easy parking available all around the venue (Blue Disc zone).
  • By Public Transport:
    • Trams 8 & 25 (Stop: Marie-José)
    • Bus 95 (Stop: Arcades)
    • Train: Boondael Station (Exit on the Chaussée de Boitsfort side, then walk down to Square du Vieux Tilleul).

Tickets & Registration

Please Note: Space is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Book early to secure your spot!

Members of the Cambridge Societies may purchase tickets for themselves and a maximum of one friend at €39 per person, friends from the Other Place at €39 per person and a maximum of one friend, general guests & members of other sister alumni societies at €44.

How to Book (Deadline: 6pm Friday 19th June):

  1. Register: Confirm your attendance by filling out our online form [LINK HERE].
  2. Transfer your payment to the Cambridge Society of Belgium bank account — please do immediately after having registered:
  • IBAN: BE26 0689 0251 7329
  • Payment Reference: Please mention “Summer Cocktail 2026”, which society, your name, and your guest’s name (if applicable).

Your registration is fully confirmed only once your payment has been received, this will be done in batches. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for cancellations made after 19th June unless we can fill your spot from the waiting list.
