Scholarships for 1yr Masters in China

We are writing to inform recent Cambridge alumni of a new scholarship opportunity open to young people in Europe, and around the world.  Inspired by the Rhodes Scholarship, Schwarzman Scholars is a highly selective international scholarship program designed to prepare future leaders for success in a world where China plays a key global role.

The program will give the world’s best and brightest students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a fully-funded, one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University – one of China’s most prestigious universities.  The application is now available, and the deadline is October 1, 2015. Additional information on the application process, including key dates, requirements and eligibility criteria can be found on our website.

Schwarzman Scholar representatives have visited Cambridge a few times, and soon we will be in Brussels.  We invite young alumni in Brussels to join us for an information session and reception on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 7-9 PM in Foyer 7 at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place at Carrefour de l'Europe 3. The event will provide potential scholars the opportunity to learn more about this new fellowship.  Light refreshments will be served.

Although the program will be accepting applications from currently enrolled students, this information session is targeted specifically for working professionals who will be between the ages of 18 and 28 as of the program start date of June 30, 2016. The program is open to graduates from any field of study, provided that they can articulate how the experience in China will help them develop as leaders in their fields.  Space is limited, so we ask those interested in attending the session to register for the event at this link

Should you have any questions about the program or the event, please feel free to contact us at SchwarzmanScholars.Europe@iie.org
