Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race, Saturday 11th April from 17:15hrs

The 161st  Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge takes place on Saturday 11th April 2015. The Cambridge Society of Belgium and The Oxford University Society of Belgium in collaboration with Royal Sport Nautique de Bruxelles invite you to join them to watch the race on a large screen television and then celebrate or commiserate afterwards with a buffet supper.

This year for the first time the Ladies crews of our two almae matres will be competing over the same stretch of the Tideway as the men, so it will be a momentous occasion.

Join us from 5.15 p.m. onwards at the club house of the Royal Sport Nautique de Bruxelles

170 chaussée de Vilvorde, 1120 Brussels

for a welcome drink before the first race, the Ladies, which sets off at 5.50 p.m. The Men will follow at 6.50 p.m.

Afterwards you have the option of helping yourself from a splendid cold buffet while renewing old friendships and establishing new ones.

Attendance at the screening is free, just buy your own drinks at the bar; participation in the buffet is €27.50 per head, including the welcome drink.  Children under six free (we're only allowed five at this rate), under twelve €10.

Please reply by Friday 3rd April using this form:  http://goo.gl/forms/IJ9drSCLs2

indicating if you wish to partake of the buffet, and making payment to the Oxford Society bank account BE04-4310-6858-5131 with the mention “Boat Race Buffet– x people”.

As the RSNB is a private club we ask you to reply even if you do not intend to stay for supper.

We look forward to seeing many of you then.
